A quick word of advice… unless you really, really, need something, stay away from the supermarkets! I made the mistake of trying to pick up some groceries earlier today and it was utter mayhem. People are shopping like there’s no tomorrow! Most people were dragging multiple overflowing trollies, along with armies of scattering children. I actually gave up and abandoned my trolley half way through, scooting to the express checkout with just the bare essentials (milk!). The rest will just have to wait for another day. Trying to stem my rage was more important at that point than the items on my shopping list. It’s so hard to reconcile the shopping madness with the notion that people are preparing to fast. You have been warned!
